I'm so glad you're here. A few facts about me:

I've worked with older adults for almost 10 years in roles ranging from Director of Engage Life at a senior living community to Health Services Navigator in a CCRC.
As a Certified Care Manager, I am an independent Care Partner for Older Adults and Their Families serving clients across Durham. (FAQ: What is a care manager, anyway?!)
I'm also part of the team at Dementia Inclusive, Inc. where I specialize in providing Creative Companionship Respite care and caregiver education.
I am a TimeSlips certified facilitator and conduct regular Creative Engagement sessions in various communities such as the West End Community Foundation. I love it!
I am certified as a trained class leader with Powerful Tools for Caregivers and lead recurring in-person and virtual class sessions across the Triangle.
In my free time I enjoy writing this blog, reading, doing pottery, and playing fetch in the backyard with my husband and labradoodle.
